# Dispatches

Announcements about our work — what we built, what we are testing, and what we need help with.

Each dispatch below is also available as Markdown by appending `.md` to its URL.

## [A Calmer Front Page](https://www.truthpromoters.com/dispatches/a-calmer-front-page)

*2026-10-18*

Our home page had grown long and busy, with the prayer times shown twice and the weekly majlis easy to scroll past. We rebuilt it around one question: what is happening today? And we added something people have asked for: a month of prayer times for any place, ready to print for a prayer room.

## [The Front Door](https://www.truthpromoters.com/dispatches/the-front-door)

*2026-10-06*

IlmFlow has a home of its own. tpilmflow.com shows what we are building and why, how the tools fit
together and how far each has come, in English, Farsi and Arabic from its first day.

## [Nothing on the Page](https://www.truthpromoters.com/dispatches/nothing-on-the-page)

*2026-10-04*

The machine that reads our library's scanned pages was given a blank page from al-Ṭūsī's Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām, and wrote an essay about George Orwell's 1984. So we measured all 24,368 pages it has read, found every page like it, and changed the reader so that a page with nothing on it is never put in front of it again.

## [Carried, Word for Word](https://www.truthpromoters.com/dispatches/carried-word-for-word)

*2026-09-30*

Safina, the fourth of our IlmFlow tools, is open. It keeps the lectures, lessons and speeches that the scholars' own offices publish on their websites — exactly as published, with where each came from and when — beside daftar, fihrist and diwan.

## [Written, Found, and Kept](https://www.truthpromoters.com/dispatches/written-found-and-kept)

*2026-09-25*

diwan, the third of our IlmFlow tools, is open. It keeps the written work behind our sessions exactly as it was written, every revision and who made each one, beside daftar, where the teaching material is written, and fihrist, where the sources are found.

## [A Catalogue, and One Key](https://www.truthpromoters.com/dispatches/a-catalogue-and-one-key)

*2026-09-18*

Fihrist, our research toolkit, searches a library of Arabic and Persian books and tells you which book and which page — never a quote to copy. It now opens with the same sign-in as daftar, so one account is the key to every tool we build.

## [In Your Language, From the Start](https://www.truthpromoters.com/dispatches/in-your-language-from-the-start)

*2026-09-11*

daftar — where the teaching material behind IlmFlow is written and reviewed — was in English. Asking scholars who study in Farsi and Arabic to work in English, while promising everyone else their own language, was the wrong way round. It is fixed.

## [You Were Allowed to Ask](https://www.truthpromoters.com/dispatches/you-were-allowed-to-ask)

*2026-09-07*

We are sending a student to the Hawza. Not a person, but a system built to learn how scholars think — no gatekeeping, no verdicts, just honest, fully sourced answers that point you back to the texts and back to your marjaʿ.
